It is a text file consisting of ASCII and EUC text. Each line is of the form
JAPANESE [READING] /English/English..../ or JAPANESE /English/English..../The second form is used when the Japanese has no kanji. The READING is the kanji's reading in kana.
The vt indicates that the first entry is a transitive verb, while the second's vi is an intransitive verb.![]()
